More of a complaint than humor, but I have horrific periods. To the point where I can bleed through a super-heavy tampon AND a super-heavy overnight pad in half an hour. There have been occasions where I have gotten out of bed and for the few seconds I’ve been on my feet I’ve bled all down my legs and stained the carpet. The response I always get when I tell people that my periods are bad is “oh, my periods are heavy too.” and them proceedng to tell me how hard it is having to change their sanitary product every two or three hours. I’m sorry but if you’re fortunate enough to have periods that allow you that much liberty when it comes to changing your products, you have no idea what a heavy period is until you’ve lived through one of mine.
