I go to the nurse’s office at least once, usually twice a day. We have a nice chat sometimes. She even lets me take her keys so I can get my medicine without waiting for her. She doesn’t question it when I come in anymore and told me I can take whatever I need. We’re pretty tight.

My dad has a list as long as the house of hereditary diseases from his father’s side. I’m the only one to inherit said diseases including mental illnesses, asthma, insomnia, chronic pain and too many more. Needless to say, I’m awaiting symptoms.

[Image: 6-piece blue colored background with a Siamese cat.Text reads: “Get physical therapy for relearning how to breathe”]
Went to my DO because I’ve been having costochondritis on and off for the past year. He explains that I keep re-flaring it because I’ve lost the ability to diaphragmatic breathe after a year of on and off asthma crises, and gives me PT for it.
I noticed when I was leaving that instead of costochondritis my diagnosis said “Tietze Syndrome” which is a little different. My joint between my ribs and costal cartilage is swollen. Now that it’s been pointed out, I constantly notice it, because the tissue is SO swollen I can feel it by touching near my sternum.

Anyone else sick of introducing themselves as what they used to do?
You know at parties and stuff. “I’m Bob, I golf and go to University for Cat Studies and blahblahblah.. So, what do you do?“”Well, I’m Fluffy and I used to go to University for Dramatic Arts, I used to dance and act and ride horses and sing and enjoy hiking and adventure and the great outdoors… and then I took a Fibromyalgia to the knee.”
That’s just what I’m going to say from now own. “I used to do stuff, but then I took a Fibromyalgia to the knee.”
God bless the cat who submitted that earlier post, it was hilarious!

I hope I’m not the only person who legitimately finds it fun to organize a pill box. (“Upside” part was sarcasm. Obviously I find no “upside” to my Fibromyalgia.)

upped my dosage of depression meds just before the school year started. can’t tell if new insomnia problem is that, or stress, or just because my brain decided it didn’t have enough issues already.

[Image: 6-piece blue colored background with a Siamese cat.Text reads: “Cough. Lumbago.”]
I have sensitive airways and always end up with longdrawn coughs no matter what kind of infection I happen to get. My last cold ended with me pulling some intercostal muscles when I stretched one morning. Not a good way to start a day.

I’ve had this cough for weeks and the doctors can’t find anything significantly wrong so it’s just a virus but it’s been THREE WEEKS. IMMUNE SYSTEM PLS…
